Kicking Off 2024 With My Nail Series
Hi Loves! I know I say this all the time, but it has been a minute. I get motivated then I stop. I am not making any commitments, but I will do my best to post on my blog more often. I decided to start this nail series this year because in the past I would keep my nails and feet done, but since the VID!!!, it seems like the price has increased on everything. It was costing me almost $100 or more to get my nails and feet done and this is with one color and designs on my big toe only. They even started to charge for the length of my nails. I have long nail beds, so that was not fair since I do not like the extra long nails, then they charge you extra to cut them down at some nail salons.
After I decided to remove my nails, I noticed that my natural nails were so thin and brittle. I started to take care of my nails at home. I purchased Essie, OPI and Orly Nail Polish and products to keep my nails cute and get them back healthy. After more than six months, I finally noticed my nails beginning to look healthy.
In my opinion, I do not think that adhering something to your nails longterm is healthy and I am definitely not giving the nail salon all my money to make them unhealthy. So here I am trying out press on nails to give me a different look than what I could even afford before for less. I can also choose to wear them when I want without harming the health of my nails.
This is the first video in my nail series. I was so happy with the results as you can see the results in the video image. I purchased these press on nails from Amazon for less than $10. They were very easy to apply and I loved they way they looked. As you all know I enjoy doing hair and cooking. I also type a lot at work and use my hands often. With that being said, this set lasted me for about a week. That is fine with me. In my next video, I will show how I removed them along with applying a new design.
